Video games are these amazing, immersive pieces of entertainment that engage our senses in ways that few other forms of media can. Sure, they provide us with sights and sounds, just like movies and TV shows, but they are uniquely interactive, and advances in gaming hardware now mean they can also engage our sense of touch through haptic feedback, touchpads, and adaptive triggers. More than ever, gamers can feel more connected to the game worlds they love, and that's absolutely amazing.
As far as we've come with immersion in video games, though, there are two senses that games don't yet engage: your sense of taste and your sense of smell. We'll leave "gaming flavors" to someone else, but we think there's huge potential for smell to elevate gamers' experiences with our favorite games, and that's our mission, to introduce scent into the mix in a way that elevates our experience with video games in a new way.

It's this belief that there truly is an opportunity for scent to offer a new level of immersion in gaming that led us to start this company, Gamer Scent Candles™.
At launch, we're offering 5 scents in 4 different sizes/types, but we have so many more ideas for genres we want to represent in our lineup and scent profiles that will work with those types of games.
When Did We Know We Were on to Something?
Honestly, I can remember the first time I got that feeling that this was something that really could work. I was playing Assassin's Creed: Shadows and burning one of our Japanese Daydreams candles.
As Noae, I was running through a field of cherry blossoms, and when the cherry blossom and plum scent of the candle hit me in that moment, I felt it. It made me feel a little more like I was there in the game world. It was simple, but it worked, and I refuse to play the game now without that candle burning. That's the experience we hope to deliver to our customers, for a collection of gaming genres that will continue to grow into the future.
Our dream is to someday be able to collab directly with gaming studios on their upcoming releases to create limited edition scents that we can launch alongside the game. But until then, our plan is to expand our lineup to create scents to as many different genres as possible.
